So I’ve been a little late in the switching to snow leopard game, but one thing I came across today that I have been griping about so much in the Mac work flow is the ability to copy local URL’s. Working in an office with multiple designers and programmers I constantly am sending files back and forth either for approvals or just to pass off a project. This morning I was being inquisitive and stumbled upon the ability to (finally) copy and paste information in the “Get Info” right-click function then the idea popped in my head and I pasted the link I copied in my browser and wha-la…
You now have a file browser you can actually copy and paste links to. I may be using this as my new finder. This was one of my biggest gripes about Mac OS X and they just slid that new feature in there (I’ve searched all over the Snow Leopard section on the apple website haven’t found it yet). Maybe its because this ability should have been there a LONG time ago? hmm… I think so. Now if only Dropbox could bring back their right click copy abilities…
NERDBOTS. Quite possible the coolest thing since the day old hostess shops that I used to go to (I really miss those places). If I find $200 on the floor im taking it straight to google checkout to buy me one of these. Their site is squeaky clean too.
